Monitor and ID Cards
Monitor allows parents to load funds on to their child's Monitor account. The child's Pinehurst ID card can be used to pay for items at school. Each card will initially just have a tuck shop account. The card can also be used for releasing printing, issuing library books and signing in and out of school.
Who gets ID cards?
Each Year 7 - 13 student will be issued with a Pinehurst Student ID. The ID card has the students ID number, barcode and an RFID for use on proximity readers. Students in years 9-13 will have Auckland Transport branded cards which they need to take with them when they are on Auckland Transport buses, to prove that they are school age. If we expand the use of services to those involving the Primary School, then we will issue additional cards.
- Years 9 -13 are issued a new card each year - as per the requirements of Auckland transport
- Years 7-8 are issued a card when they enter Pinehurst School - they keep this card until Year 9
- Year 6 students will be issued a card for Term 4 after which time they are able to use the College tuck shop
- Staff can use their online account for purchases. Purchases at the tuck shop can be made using your staff ID card.
Who can load Credit on the card
Credit can be loaded onto the student's monitor account by students or parents online. Balances and transactions can be viewed and printed.
What if a card is lost/stolen

- If a card is stolen this should be reported to monitor@pinehurst.school.nz or a staff member so that the account can be locked
