Change my operating system to English

Windows operating system


To change the system default language, close running applications, and use these steps:


  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on Time & Language.
      
      3. Click on Language.
      
      4. Under the "Preferred languages" section, click the Add a language button.
      
      5. Type in "English" to filter all English languages then select "English (Australia)", then click on "Next"
      
      6. Make sure you select all the options including "Set as my Windows Display language", Click on Install.
      
      7. Windows will download the language package and restart computer.


Mac computers


  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Language & Region.

      2. In General tab, on the left side Preferred languages field, check what languages you already have on this mac. If you don't have English, please click on the add "+" button down the bottom.
      3. Type in "English" or select "English (New Zealand)"
            4. Make sure the newly added "English" language is at the top of the list. You can drag it to top.
      5. Save and restart computer.
