BYOD Find Me Printer

What is Find-Me printing? Simply, it’s the ability for teachers and students to send their print jobs to a single print queue from their computer or device, and release their jobs from whichever printer they’re close to, whenever they want.


Install the printer


WarningNote for Windows and Mac: 
- You need to have administrator permission on the device to install the printer
- You need to connect to school network first to be able to download and install a printer 


Install on a Windows computer

  • Notes
    Note: You cannot download and install any apps if you are running Windows S mode system. 
  • Double click on the downloaded file to install.
  • If there is a black prompt screen pop up, don't close it. It will close itself once it is complete.
  • When the installation is done, Papercut sign in screen will be pop up. 
  • Click on Sign in with Microsoft will allow your web browser's school login signed in, without re-enter username and password.

Install on a Mac computer - AirPrint

  • System Preferences > Printers and Scanners > Add + to add printer > Select BYOD_find_me >
  •  
  • Print a document > When prompted for authentication like below, click on the little cycle icon - use your school username and password
